*Sip a latte, have some lunch, and see some murals; it’s that simple.
*If you want to avoid the crowds, exploration is best done Mondays through Thursdays day or night. Since exhibits and events can happen frequently along any street, going during these times would be best if you want to avoid obstructions. It’s difficult to even single out a particular spot because every block has so many. Even alleys and parking lots are mesmerizing. Check out something you already wanted to do than walk around the general vicinity. It’s photo-ops galore everywhere.
*Murals are found throughout downtown but one major concentration of them is found on the southern half of the arts district, just south of Charleston Blvd.
*Paid parking is everywhere but relatively cheap, going for as low as a dollar an hour but usually no more than two.
