*Go as early as possible, particularly in the hot months, not just because of the weather but because you can experience the Behind-the-Scenes tour that starts at 8:30 AM. It’s an hour and a half and you get to tour with one of the lion trainers and hand feed Ozzie the Giraffe!

*They are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but always check the website for updates before going. Buy tickets ahead of time and sign the waivers online. They close for rain so always call ahead.

*Dress for the outdoors and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. The walking path is gravel and dirt.

*Keep your eyes out the windows on the drive there to see the Raiders practice stadium!

*Pair this with Seven Magic Mountains since they are so close.
