*Upon arriving you have to check out the pawn shop attached to Beauty & Essex. In the back of the pawn shop is a door that blends in, where you enter the restaurant.

*Reservations are highly recommended in advance. Try to get there early so you can stop at the Pearl Lounge for a cocktail prior to your dinner reservation.

*The menu is meant to be shared, small plate style. Tuna Poke Wonton Tacos and Little French Dips with Gruyere cheese is the perfect start. I’m sure I will get side eyes on this one, but the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Dumplings are my favorite! They are served on individual spoons, and I guarantee the table will be fighting over who gets the last one! My second favorite dish is the lamb chops with a port wine glaze. Even the crowd who says they don’t eat lamb will end up loving this!
