Carbone
This celebrated concept from Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick pays homage to the Italian-American restaurants of the mid-20th century – an era of glamour, showmanship and tableside service.

*It has a sophisticated NYC vibe (think The Great Gatsby) and an extensive wine collection. Not only is the food outstanding, but you can also expect top-notch service.
*An order of their meatballs and veal parmesan is a great start; the caesar salad is always fresh and adds a nice balance to the heaviness of some of these dishes. I was pleasantly surprised by their ribeye.
*Have your server bring around the rum cart. They have a really nice selection of rums and fantastic rum-based cocktails. Carbone’s wine selection is phenomenal as well.
*Save room for their Nutella tiramisu and some coffee!
*They do fill up fairly quickly and often have full buyouts of the restaurant. Definitely make your reservations well in advance and do not be late, or you may lose your reservation!
*Children under 5 years old are not permitted.
Ride share or private chauffeured transportation is recommended.
